北京外国語大学中国語言文学学科を卒業後、同大学海外漢学研究センターにて比較文学専攻修士課程修了。現在、東京大学人文社会系研究科アジア文化研究専攻在籍。 16〜17世紀東アジアにおけるカトリック宣教師の布教活動に関心を持っている。特に、イエズス会士が中国や日本で出版した書物及びそれらの受容のあり方を研究してきた。博士課程では、16〜17世紀に出版された漢訳教理書を対象とし、キリスト教の教義が翻訳を経て中国に 伝えられていく過程を明らかにしたい。
WANG Wenlu is a PhD student in the Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology, the University of Tokyo. She received her B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University, and obtained M.A. in Comparative Literature from the National Research Center of Overseas Sinology of the same university. Her research interest mainly falls in the history of Christianity of East Asia, especially in the Jesuit mission press in China and Japan. Her PhD research, with a focus on the Chinese catechisms published in the 16-17 centuries, explores the the process of how Christian doctrines had been translated into Chinese language.
