第2回若手研究者報告会 Junior & Visiting member Workshop
GHCの東京拠点である東京大学東洋文化研究所で「新しい世界史/グローバルヒストリー」に関連する研究に取り組む外国人若手研究者と日本人若手研究者の情報交換と意見交換を行うための若手研究者報告会が、11月21日(月)に開催された。報告者とその報告タイトルは次の通りである。司会はGHC東京拠点代表の羽田教授が務めた。
1. XU. Dongxiang (EHESS) " Chinese conservatism and foreign influences from late Qing to the early Republican period "
2. Nadin Heé (Free University Berlin) "Japan's Maritime Empire. Economies of Knowledge in Global Exploration and Exploitation of the Oceans in the Territorial Age "
3. Claire Cooper (Princeton University ) " Imaging the Foreign: Early Modern Japanese Visual and Material Engagements with ‘Holland.’ "
4. Daniel Hedinger(University of Munich) " Empires at war. Towards a global history of World War II "
Juinor & Visiting member workshop was held on Monday November 21st. Foreign research fellows working on research related to global history at the Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia , the University of Tokyo, which is the Tokyo headquarters for the Global History Collaborative(GHC) and young Japanese research fellows exchanged information and ideas. The names of presenters and titles of their presentations were as follows. The session was hosted by Professor Masashi Haneda, GHC Tokyo representative.
