An international conference titled “Global History and the Meiji Restoration” will be held at Universität Heidelberg from July 3 to 5 of this year. The University of Tokyo GHC representative, Prof. Haneda, is slated to give the conference keynote address titled “Global History and a New World History in Japan.”
