Applications are invited to the new post-doctoral position at the Center for Historical Research in St. Petersburg in the field of global and comparative history of nationalism, colonialism, and empire in the region of Eastern Europe and Eurasia.

Requirements: a Ph. D. degree from an international research university in the field of History; a strong background in theories of empire and nationalism; fluent English.

Deadline for application is March 15, 2017; the start date is Sept 1, 2017.
