近年の関心は、国際連盟の東アジアにおける活動、アヘンの取締りなど。
オクスフォード大学で博士号取得(1994年)。2003-4年、オクスフォード大学、LSE客員研究員。

Harumi Goto-Shibata is a professor in International History. She obtained her doctorate at the University of Oxford in 1994.  Currently, she is interested in the role played by the League of Nations in East Asia. In 2003-4, she was a Visiting Scholar at St Antony's College, University of Oxford, and London School of Economics and Political Science.
