主に次の３つのテーマに取り組んでいます。（１）前近代アジアにおける法廷記録と案件処理の比較法史学的研究（モンゴル、日本、中国、朝鮮）（２）帝国と正義（モンゴル帝国、大清帝国）（３）モンゴル法制史全般（法文書、裁判制度、土地所有、身分秩序、狩猟規範）。同時に、法社会学や法人類学、学際的研究方法論にも興味を持っています。

Primarily work on three topics: (a) court records and case settlements in early modern Asia: a comparative legal-historical study on the case of Mongolia, Japan, China, and Korea; (b) empire and justice (the Mongol Empire, the Qing Empire, etc.); and (c) Mongolian legal history (legal records, justice, land ownership, social status, and hunting law, etc.) I am also interested in socio-legal/ legal-anthropological studies and interdisciplinary research methods.
