現在の研究関心は、近代的な概念（文明、啓蒙、世界、普遍等）の循環の歴史である。東京大学にて博士号（2009年）。パリ第７大学（2002年）、ハーバード・イェンチェン研究所（2004-2005年）、パリ第８大学（2009年）、ニューヨーク大学（2009年）、フリードリッヒ・アレクサンダー大学（エアランゲン）IKGF（2013年）、プリンストン大学（2015年）にて、客員研究員・客員教授。『共生のプラクシス＿＿国家と宗教』（2011年）により、和辻哲郎文化賞（2013年）を受賞。

NAKAJIMA Takahiro is professor in comparative philosophy. He is a graduate of the University of Tokyo and obtained his Ph.D there in 2009. Currently, he pays attention to the circulation of modern concepts like civilization, enlightenment, world, and universality. As visiting professor or scholar, he stayed at University of Paris 7 (2002), Harvard-Yenching Institute (2004-2005), University of Paris 8 (2009), New York University (2009), IKGF (Internationales Kolleg für Geisteswissenschaftliche Forschung) of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (2013), Princeton University (2015). Among his numerous publications, Praxis of Co-existence: State and Religion (2011) received the WATSUJI Tetsuro Prize (2013).
