東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科博士課程（アジア史）在学。 慶応義塾大学文学部人文社会学科卒業（2015年）、東京大学大学院人文社会研究科修士課程修了（2017年）。海域アジア史、東南アジア島嶼部の社会経済史に関心がある。修士論文の題目は「オランダ東インド会社のアヘン貿易、1667-1780年－生産・流通・消費－」。現在は、18世紀の東南アジア島嶼部を主な分析対象とし、当時、南アジアの代表的輸出産品であったアヘンと綿布の貿易、流通、消費という観点から本格的な植民地支配がはじまる以前の変化を捉えようと試みている。
Currently a Ph.D. student at Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology, University of Tokyo. Graduated from the Keio University (2015), and completed a Master’s Program in Asian History at the University of Tokyo (2017). Major interests are in the socio-economic history of Maritime Asia and Maritime Southeast Asia. Master’s thesis title is ” Opium Trade of the Dutch East India Company, 1667-1780: Production, Distribution and Consumption” (written in Japanese). My Ph.D study aims to grasp socio-economic changes in the eighteenth century Malay-Indonesian Archipelago from the aspect of trade, distribution and consumption in South Asian products such as opium and textile.
