専門は旧ユーゴスラビア地域における民族問題とナショナリズム。特に政治宗教としての民族イデオロギー、及びその構築・消費課程における体制と知識人の癒着に関心。博士論文の主題として、第二次世界大戦期の枢軸国陣営の傀儡国家「クロアチア独立国」における教育政策に焦点をあてた研究を行っている。また現在の東欧諸国におけるホロコーストを巡る記憶の共有や犠牲者ナショナリズムの創造についても調査予定。
東京大学大学院修士課程修了(欧州研究)、ザグレブ大学哲学科博士課程留学(2010-2011)、在クロアチア日本大使館専門調査員(2012-2014)。
Takuya MOMMA, currently a Ph.D. candidate at Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, University of Tokyo, specializes in the ethnic conflict and the development of nationalism in former-Yugoslav communities.
Interested in national ideology as a political religion, and a collusive relationship between regime and intellectuals in the process of nationalization, he is preparing a doctoral thesis about education policy in the Independent State of Croatia, a puppet state established by Axis Powers during World War II.
He has also a plan to conduct research into shared memories of the Holocaust and the creation of victimhood nationalism in today's Eastern European countries.
After completing a Master's Program in European Studies at the University of Tokyo, he studied in the doctoral course at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb (2010-2011),
and worked as a Researcher/Adviser in the Embassy of Japan in Croatia(2012-2014).
