近現代の中東政治史、法制史に関心がある。現在は、19世紀中頃から20世紀前半にかけて世界各国で制定された成文憲法とその運用を考察する一環として、立憲革命（1906年-1911年）以後のイランにおける議会制の展開について研究を進めている。東京大学大学院人文社会研究科アジア文化研究専攻修士課程修了（2017年）。同年、同大学院総合文化研究科博士課程地域文化研究専攻進学。

Yoshiaki TOKUNAGA is a doctoral student, the University of Tokyo. He completed a　Master’s Program in Asian History at the University of Tokyo (2017). His research topic is the political and legal history in the Middle East. His interests include practices of codified constitutions established from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century around the world. Currently, he focuses on the development of parliamentary system in Iran after the Constitutional Revolution (1906-1911).
